Hello my name is Tracy Woods-Boyan. I am the Hygienist at Smiles on Clark. I have been in the dental field for 19 years, and 7 of those years have been in this office.

I began my career in 1991 where I received a certificate in Dental Assisting from Allan Hancock College; later that year receiving my RDA. I graduated from Allan Hancock College, in 1997, with an Associates of Science in Dental Assisting, while making the Presidents List. I worked in a local private practice for 7 years before attending hygiene school. I attended Taft College where I received my Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1999. I graduate as valedictorian of my class and was a prestigious member of Alpha Gamma Sigma honor society. I completed a graduate course winter of 2009 in Oral Health for Special Needs at University of the Pacific. This allows me special training with children, elderly, and the disabled.

I also had the opportunity to consult for Rembrandt Toothpaste (Den-Mat Corp), furthering my knowledge in marketing and dental products. I traveled throughout the US, attending and consulting at dental and dental hygiene trade shows.

I have been involved with the Central Coast Dental Hygiene society throughout the year and currently serve as Vice President and publication chair, as well as previous past President. I have also been involved in many local community activities.
